On the afternoon of April 21, 1945, 427 Squadron was called to a parade in
front of the hanger. The occasion was the presentation of the Bristol
Bombing Trophy for the best bombing score for the month of March, 1945.

The trophy is presented by AVM C. "Black Mike" McEwen to 427 Squadron personnel.
