Sgt R. Wilson RAF of 428 Squadron

Sgt R. Wilson RAF and crew, flying Halifax V DK-270 coded NA-U, crashed while trying to land at Framlingham on return from an operation to Hannover
Four members of the crew were killed. The  crewmembers were:

Sgt G. Whitley RAF
P/O B. Roughton RAF
Sgt A. Lucas RAF
Sgt D. Mercer RCAF
Sgt E. Wainwright RAF
