This crew failed to return from operations to Hanover on September 22/23, 1943, while flying Halifax V LK-909 coded WL-G.

Crewmembers: P/O H. Green RAF, Pilot (far left); F/Sgt J. Cross RAF, Navigator (2nd from left); Sgt E. Coward RAF, Wireless op (center);
Sgt S. Hern RAF, Flight engineer; Sgt A. Cudd RAF, Bomb aimer; W/O1 A. Heaney RCAF, Mid-upper gunner;
F/Sgt. D. Burge RAF, Rear Gunner.
