squadron was killed on September
22/23 1943 when Halifax V LK-909 coded WL-G was shot down by a nightfighter and exploded and crashed four kilometers east of Hann Strohen while on operations to Hannover.
This was F/Sgt Reynolds' first flight as a pilot, he was flying with the P/O H. Green crew. All eight crewmembers were killed.
