64 Halifaxes from 424, 427, 429 and 433 were ordered to attack German troop positions at St. Vith the crews were over the target at between 10,000 to 12,000 feet, releasing 126,000 lbs. of high explosives and 307,000 lbs. of incendiaries. According to reports the attack seemed accurate.
