    13 Halifaxes from 408 and 419 Squadrons were ordered out on a mining operation to the Kattegat. The crews were over the garden at between 800 and 2,000 feet, sowing 22@1500 lb mines.

    3 crews from 408 Squadron returned without mining as they could not find the pinpoint due to poor weather.
