3 Wellingtons from 424 Squadron were ordered on a mining operation to the Frisian Islands. The crews were over the garden at between 600 and 700 feet, sowing 6@1500 lb mines. 

P/O L. Brown, S/Ldr J. Comar and Sgt P. Heden landed at Bodney on return due to poor weather at base.
