    41 Lancasters from 408, 419, and 428 squadrons were joined by 157 Halifaxes from 420, 424, 425, 426, 427, 429, 431, 432, 433, and 434 squadrons on a series of attacks on V-1 launching sites in the Pas de Calais area. These attacks took place from between 13,000 to 15,000 feet with 1,590,000 lbs of ordinance being dropped on L’Hey, Anderbelck, Ferme du Forestal, and Ferme du Grand Bois.

    F/O J. Calder of 419 squadron was hit by flak, holes were taken in the stbd aileron and fuel tank. They returned safely to base.
    W/O2 I. Johnson was hit by flak, it was not serious.

    F/O F. Bird of 420 squadron landed at Cranwell on return.

    P/O S. Milliken of 425 squadron returned to early, port outer was u/s after take off, crew returned safely on 3 engines.
    F/O N. Streight has an engine go u/s outbound. They bombed and returned safely on 3 engines.

    P/O F. Skeaff of 431 squadron returned early, the stbd inner was u/s after takeoff. They returned safely on 3 engines.
    P/O J. Harris landed at Linton on Ouse on return.
    Sgt A. Pitzek, P/O T. Rhodes, P/O E. Reesor, and P/O D. Connor landed at East Moor on return.

    F/O R. Lawrenson of 432 squadron was hit by flak in the port outer, they landed safely at Woodbridge.

    F/O R. Simpson of 433 squadron returned early, the stb inner was u/s. They landed safely at base.
    P/O H. Solomos landed at Dishforth on retun.
    7 crews also landed at Marston Moor.

    F/Lt. W. Wright of 434 squadron landed at Dishforth on return.
    F/Lt. K. MacDonald landed at East Moor.
    P/O. J. Lees, F/O R. Pratt, P/O H. Frith, P/O A. Hegseth, F/Lt. M. Flewelling, F/O I. Alexander, F/O G. Moore, F/O N. Currie, and F/O K. MaGrath landed at Linton on Ouse on return.
