3 Lancasters from 424 and 433 squadrons were joined by 5 Halifaxes from 427 and 429 squadrons on a mining operation to the Kattegat. The crews were over the garden at between 14,000 and 15,000 feet, sowing 6@1500 lb, 28@1800 lb and 6@1000 lb mines.
