41 Halifaxes from 427, 429, and 433 squadrons were joined by 30 Lancasters from 419 and 428 squadrons on an attack at Wilhelmshaven. 6 group recalled all the crews as the fighter escort could not take off due to bad weather. 

F/O J. Bell, 1St/Lt J. Hartshorn and W/Cdr D. Hagerman from 419 Squadron landed at Linton on Ouse on return.
