    15 Halifaxes from 424 and 433 squadrons were ordered on a mining operation to the Kattegat. The crews were over the garden at 15,000 feet, sowing 26@1500 lb mines.

    W/O2 D. MacKenzie from 424 squadron reteurned early as the navigation aids were u/s.
    F/O D. Crosbie returned early because the navigation aids were u/s.

    F/Sgt. F. Edmondson from 433 squadron was hit by flak, there was many holes through out the fuselage.
