    10 Halifaxes from 428 squadron were sent on a mining operation to the Dunkirk, Flushing, and Den Helder areas. The crews were over the garden at 7,000 feet, sowing 40@1850 lb. mines.

    One crew landed at Peterborough and the rest landed safely at base.
