    8 Halifaxes from 428 squadron were ordered on a mining operation to St. Nazaire and Lorient. The crews were over the garden at between 11,000 and 14,000 feet sowing 24@1500 lb mines.

    F/Lt. R. Anderson landed at Moreton in the Marsh on return.
    F/O T. Nichol-Carne landed at Colerne on return.
    F/O C. Gue, P/O J. Koresky, and P/O B. Walter landed at St. Eval on return.
