    50 Halifaxes from 419, 428, 431, and 434 Squadrons were ordered on an attack of the rail yards at Amiens. The crew were over the target at between 12,000 and 14,000 feet, releasing 537,000 lbs of high explosives. According to reports there was severe damage to the rail yards.

    F/Sgt R. McIvor from 419 Squadron was hit by flak, the mid upper turret and bomb bay were damaged.

    P/O R. Pratt from 434 Squadron returned early as they were off track and would have been late.
