November 11/12, 1943

    20 Halifaxes from 419, 427, 428, and 429 were order to attack the rail yards at Cannes. The crews were over the target at between 12,000 and 14,000 feet, releasing 80,000 lbs of high explosives and 19,000 lbs of incendiaries. According to reports, the rail sheds were damaged with some bombing creeping into the city.

    P/O J. Milton landed at Snaith on return.
    F/Lt. A. Rodwell landed at Linton on Ouse on return.

    F/Sgt. K. Bowly from 429 squadron landed at Marston Moor on return.
